About me and my practice
I am a qualified counsellor with the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists which is a professional association for registered members of counselling professions. I work with children, young people, and adults.
I offer a friendly, safe, and confidential space to listen and understand what is going on for you from your perspective. Together we will work, without judgement or shame, at your pace to explore your concerns, gain insight into what changes you want to make to move forward in your life.
In developing our trusting relationship, my approach is respectful, honest, and supportive of your needs. My counselling style is both Person Centered and Transactional Analysis based, to facilitate personal growth and change, and to fulfil your potential in all areas of your life. In addition, I use creative interventions such as clay, stonework, and free association artwork which can be helpful in accessing your thoughts, feelings and behaviours in a more informal way.
I also offer Ecotherapy - Walk Talk Therapy in a variety of convenient locations and settings.
I have an enhanced DBS Certificate and full Professional Indemnity Insurance to work with children, young people, and adults.
I offer both short and long-term counselling depending on your individual needs.
I offer face to face sessions in a relaxing and confidential room, online therapy, and home visits.
I also offer Ecotherapy Walk and Talk Therapy at a convenient location for you.
